February Wrap-Up!

monthly wrapup

Hi everyone! Well, February has come and gone, and now we are a week into March.  That means spring is on its way!!  February was a pretty uneventful month for me, personally, but after the January I had, I really appreciated the peace.  Also, on February 10th, it was my blog’s 2nd anniversary! Of course, I totally forgot, and so I didn’t do anything.  I do just want to say though, thank you all so much to all of you who have followed, liked/commented on, and visited my blog.  I really appreciate each and every one of you, and all your kind words and support for me these past two years has really meant a lot!  I’m looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things that this next year of blogging brings. 🙂

I feel like I had a pretty great blogging and reading month!  Altogether I read six books in the month of February.

Safe House, which is book #3 in the 1-800-Where-R-U series, by Meg Cabot, really blew me away!  It had that classic, Meg Cabot sass, with so much suspense, action, and mystery, and I completely devoured this book.

BOOK HAUL

I picked up two books this month!  First, I received an ARC of Where the Fire Falls by Karen Barnett from Blogging for Books!  Then, I was at the Dollar Tree, and found If Only by Richard Paul Evans.  I haven’t heard a lot about this book, but everything that I have heard has been good, and I’ve really enjoyed some of his other books, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy this one, too!

  1. So many good books. I have just finished To All The Boys I´ve Loved Before and I honestly didn´t think I would like it as much as I did.

Love Love Love A Walk To Remember but I think it has alot to do with my Shane West crush growing up xD

    • I agree with you on To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did either! 👍

And yes! I’m pretty sure we’ve all had a crush on Shane West at least once some point in our lives! 😂😍 He just made the absolute best Landon, too!!

      • That book was all cute and stuff but it was something more to it then just sweet you know. And I loved the relationship between the sisters and father in this one. They seem to have so much fun together.

Haha yes I bet we all have. I had a break and then when he was in ER that crush came running back again xD

      • Yes! I loved the the family relationships, too!! I have 3 sisters, 2 older and 1 younger, so I found myself really relating to Lara Jean and how she felt about different things with her sisters and her dad. ☺️

      • That is always something positive in a book right? I only have an way to much older brother but I could actually see the friendship with my closes friends in this book 😀

  2. Wow congrats on 2 years! I love that your wrap up has your blog stuff too.

Genuine Fraud was such a neat book! I remember when I finished I wanted to reread it backward. And I think one of the tragedies of my childhood is that I never read Meg Cabot!

    • Thank you!!☺️

Yes, it was! I thought it would be cool to reread the book backwards, too. And, oh, I love Meg Cabot!! She’s one of my favorite authors. Her books are always so much fun. ☺️

  4. Congratulations on two years! Here’s to many more! I have avoided reading Genuine Fraud because reviews are all over the place, and I love Lockhart’s other books so much. I worry about it sullying my view of Lockhart. Glad you liked it.

    • Thank you!! ☺️ Yeah, I was a bit apprehensive about starting Genuine Fraud because of the mixed reviews, too. I, personally, thought it was different than E. Lockhart’s other books, but ended up really enjoying it. For that reason, though, I can understand why you wouldn’t want to read it.
