Spookathon TBR!

Hey everyone! So, I wasn’t planning on participating in the Spookathon this year, because I was already been planning on doing the Sbooktober readathon, and I just didn’t know if I would be up for two readathons back-to-back. That being said, I feel like I’ve really been lacking with my reading this month, and I’ve decided maybe back-to-back readathons are just what I need! So, I’m going for it!
The Spookathon started yesterday, October 15th, and runs through the 21st. You can get all the information you need for this readathon by clicking here!
Today, I’m going to be sharing my TBR for the readathon! You will definitely be seeing a few familiar titles if you read my October TBR post, but I’m going to be sharing the books I want to specifically read this week. You will see a few new ones though, too!
Challenges
1. Read a thriller
This book is probably more horror than thriller, but I’m using it anyway. I picked up Lights Out from a library book sale because it looks like it will be one of those fun and cheesy 90’s horror/thriller novels.
2. Read a book with purple on the cover
I’ve been hearing such wonderful and creepy things about this novel. My sister recently read Small Spaces, and she loved it. So, I’m really looking forward to reading this one!
3. Read a book not set in the current time period
4. Read a book with a spooky word in the title
For these next two challenges, I’m using The Witch of Willow Hall! I’ve already started this one, and so far it’s really good. This is a very promising read!
5. Read a book with pictures
I’ve been reading tons of Halloween-themed pictures books to my nieces and nephews, and I know I will read them more this week! Does that count?!
And that’s my little TBR for this fun and spooky readathon! I haven’t gotten much read this week because I’ve had tons of school assignments due (hence, why there was no post yesterday 😦 ) but I’ve submitted just about everything that is due for a while, and I’m hoping that I can get more reading done for the rest of the readathon!
Thanks for reading!
Looks like a great week of reading! I loved Small Spaces!!
