Hello and welcome back to day 2 for me hosting Bookending Summer 2019!  Today I’ve created a super fun (in my opinion, lolol) book tag.  I’m calling it the Pool Party Book Tag, This is a fun and summer-y book tag that lets you decide which bookish characters you would invite to a pool party!

Owns the Pool

First thing’s first! If you’re going to have a pool party, you’re going to need a pool. 

I’m going to pick Mia from The Princess Diaries for this first prompt.  I mean, she’s a princess, so I have no doubt that she’s got a pool in Genovia somewhere and it is really extravagant and amazing!

Has all the Best Party Games

This is the person who is going to make sure all the classic pool party games are played!

Arden from the Regal Hearts series by Livy Jarmusch would definitely be the one to start all the party games!

Brings the Food

It’s not a party without food!

Clara from The Way You Make Me Feel by Maurene Goo would definitely be the one everyone would want to bring the food.  Her dad owns a food truck.  So, how awesome would it be if she brought the KoBra to the pool party?!

The Lifeguard

This is the person who is always making sure everyone is applying sunscreen as well as the person to make sure nobody’s doing anything too dangerous.

For this prompt, I’m going with Christy from the Christy Miller series by Robin Jones Gunn.  She’s always been such a responsible character and I think she is the perfect person for the job!

Has the Perfect Playlist

What pool party is complete without a summer-worthy playlist of songs?

Frank and Emily from Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson would definitely be the ones picking out the pool party playlist!
