March TBR

Friends!! It’s March! That means spring is just around the corner. It’s also my birthday month! March has always a been a month of reflection for me, but with it coming up to the year mark that most of the world has been on lockdown, this March feels extra…momentous? So much has changed in my life from last March. I’m really hoping this one will be kinder to us all this year. I feel like I’m rambling, lol, but all this is to say I don’t know how much reading I will get done this month. I will probably end up either reading 2 books or like, 15. I feel like there is going to be no in between for me. ๐
Regardless of all that, I’ve decided to make a TBR! Here’s what I would love to read this month:
First, I’m currently reading The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse. This is a really intriguing thriller and I’m hoping to have it finished up by this weekend.
Finding Quiet by Jamie Grace is highly anticipated for this month’s TBR. I’ve been a fan of hers for years and have loved watching her grow as a person.
Another highly anticipated book I’m excited to read this month is The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon! I have had so many people tell me how much they love this book and this series. I’ve been putting this one off long enough. I admit, my expectations are high, so I’m nervous this book won’t live up to them, but I’m also hopeful. ๐ค๐ผ
A book I meant to read last month but just didn’t get to is Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han. As I’m sure you are all well aware, the movie for this one was released back in February, and I’ve been waiting to watch it until I read it. I adore this series and so I really hope I get to this book this month!
Next up on my March TBR is a reread of Delirium by Lauren Oliver. I first read this series years ago and loved it a lot. I never read the final book, Requieum, though and lately I’ve been wanting to. So, I decided to give the whole series a reread and finally find out how this series ends!
Another reread on my list is The Whispering Statue by Carolyn Keene. A group of us on Instagram call ourselves the Nancy Drew Book Crew and we are rereading all the classic Nancy Drew books together, one book a month. It’s been a lot of fun and I haven’t read this book since I was around 12 years old, so I’m looking forward to seeing what I think of this one.
The Blue Castle by LM Montgomery is the final book on my March TBR! LM Montgomery is one of my favorite authors and I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this book. It is one of the very few adult fiction novels that she wrote and I’m looking forward to seeing how it compares to some of her more well-known books like Anne of Green Gables and Emily of New Moon.
Thank you so much for reading!
Be sure to share what you plan to read this month. I would love to know!

Enjoy your TBR ๐

I’ve had The Bone Season on my TBR for sooo long, and I’ve also had people telling me countless times how good it is, but it just keeps getting postponed hahah I’m really looking forward to knowing your thoughts on it, though! Hope you’re having a great month! ๐
