When I saw the cover for Hooked on You and read the synopsis, I was instantly intrigued. I love to knit and crochet, so any time a book includes yarn, I’m interested. Throw in a sassy grandma and a reluctant romance and I am hooked (pun, most definitely, intended lol)! This book was such a delight to read.

One of my favorite aspects of this book were the characters. As a twenty-something who has no idea what she is doing with her life, I found Riley to be super relatable. I also loved her grandma, Erma. She was such a spunky, sassy character. She was probably my favorite, lol. Then there was Hayden… Oh my goodness, I loved his character so much! He was such a good guy. Being able to watch Riley and Hayden’s relationship unfold was oh, so sweet.

I also loved the small-town setting. Maple Falls has many busybodies but they’re all mostly well-meaning, lol. It was so quaint!

Hooked on You is a book that is filled with so much heart. It’s a book about learning to be true to yourself, loving others, and growing and learning. I absolutely adored everything about this one. I cannot wait for the next book in the series because I will, most definitely, be reading it! I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet romance novel with a great cast of characters.
