Summary
If influencers have power over us, who are you allowing to influence you?
In an online world obsessed with follows and likes, it’s important to consider what you’re really searching for. When you follow someone, it’s typically because you want to be like them or live like they do–but who have you placed as your role models?
In Who Are You Following? bestselling author and social media personality Sadie Robertson Huff dives deep into exploring who we are allowing to influence our daily thoughts and actions. With an excellent grasp of scriptural truths, using current research, surveys, and personal and biblical stories, Sadie draws on her own experience as a social media influencer and addresses topics such as
- how to go from being liked to being truly loved
- our true motives for fame
- being seen from the outside versus being known
- comparing ourselves to others
- questioning why did I post that?!
- how to respond to cancel culture
- wondering does God still love me?

*I received a free copy of this book and journal. All thoughts and opinions are my own!*
I always enjoy Sadie Robertson Huff’s books, so when I was asked to read and review her latest, I was thrilled. This might be my favorite book of hers yet!
Who Are You Following focuses on such a relevant topic. As a bookstagrammer, I know how easy it can be to get caught up in the “likes” and “follows” and insta-fame. This book does such a great job at reminding us of where we should truly be putting our focus. It also addresses how to set effective boundaries and have a healthy relationship with social media. This book was so informational and entertaining.
I also feel like this book really showcases how far Sadie Robertson has come as a writer. She’s come a long way and I really loved the growth in this one!
A guided journal was also released alongside Who Are You Following as a companion. This journal really enhanced the reading experience for this book. I love how neither book or journal are mandatory to appreciate the other, but they compliment each other so well.
The guided journal is so beautiful and filled with full-color pictures and artwork throughout. Each chapter in the journal aligns with a chapter in the book and shares Sadie’s thoughts. There’s also plenty of journaling space to write out your thoughts to the prompts.
Overall, I really enjoyed Who Are You Following and the guided journal. I highly recommend it to Sadie Robertson Huff fans and to anyone looking for an enjoyable and thoughtful Christian, nonfiction!

This sounds like such a great read for self reflection! Thank you for being on this tour. Sara @ TLC Book Tours
