Pepper Basham has done it again! I absolutely loved the Skymar series, so I was excited to read her latest romcom, and this one did NOT disappoint. From the setting to the characters and everything in between, Some Like It Scot is a must read!

One of the biggest things I loved about this book was the characters. I absolutely adored Katie. She was so genuine and relatable. I loved how she was honest about her insecurities (she’s a big girl while the rest of her family is petite), while also finding confidence in other areas of her life (like her writing). And then there’s Graeme. I loved him! The banter between Katie and Graeme was perfection. Their relationship will have you kicking your legs and giggling. This is the cutest grumpyxsunshine novel that I’ve read in a long time! It’s also a slow burn and just perfection.

Another thing I loved about about Some Like it Scot was the setting! The beautiful descriptions of Scotland had me feeling like I was there (and wishing I really was, lol). Pepper Basham always paints a picture with her writing and this one left me feeling very immersed in this story.

Overall, I absolutely adored this book! From the puns, humor, and wit, to the heartfelt moments and honest vulnerability, Some Like It Scot had it all and I loved every moment of this book. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, closed door, romance.
