Spookathon Wrap-Up!

Okay, so last week I shared with you all my TBR for the Spookathon.  Well, now that the readathon is over, and I’ve moved onto Sbooktober, I thought I’d share how this readathon turned out for me!

Challenges

1. READ A THRILLER | ❌

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to Lights Out.  I’d still love to get to it before the month is over, but we’ll see!

2. READ A BOOK WITH PURPLE ON THE COVER | ✔small spaces

Not only did I read Small Spaces, but I ended up loving this book So. Much!  It was so fun, spooky, and well-written.  I absolutely adored this book!

3. READ A BOOK NOT SET IN THE CURRENT TIME PERIOD | ✔

4. READ A BOOK WITH A SPOOKY WORD IN THE TITLE | ✔

The Witch of Willow Hall is another book I enjoyed! This book was so spooky and atmospheric! You can check out my review for it, here!

5. READ A BOOK WITH PICTURES | ✔

Two of my nieces and nephews have been wanting to read stories with me every time they come over lately, and I’ve been loving it! 🙌🏼  Some of the big favorites around here have been In a Dark, Dark Room and Other Scary Stories, Funnybones, The Teeny Tiny Woman, It Didn’t Frighten Meand The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything.

Overall, I had a fun readathon experience, and I think I did pretty well considering how last minute I joined!

Did you participate in the Spookathon? If so, let me know how it went!

Thanks for reading!
