Top Ten Books of 2018!
Hello and Happy New Year! 2018 was a wild year filled with so many amazing books! Today, I’m going to share my top ten of the year. It was so difficult to decide, because I read so many amazing books books in 2018! Altogether, I read 55 books.
According to the order they were read, here’s my top ten:
10.
After loving the movie for years, I finally read the book of A Walk to Remember! While the book and movie are quite differently, actually, the book was just as sweet and emotional.
9.
Many of you already know how much I love Meg Cabot, so it shouldn’t come as too much as a surprise that this book made my list. Safe House, in my opinion, has been the best book in the 1-800-Where-R-You that I’ve read so far.
8.
The Coronation was such an amazing book! This book is filled with so many amazing, well-written characters. It is definitely the best Christian fiction that I read this year.
7.
I had to read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before because of the Netflix movie coming out, and I am so glad I did. This book was so enjoyable, and I loved how Lara Jean and her sisters’ relationships were portrayed – it was so realistic! Also, the movie is just as good!
6.
Somehow I skipped over The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, growing up. I finally experienced the book for the first time and it was absolutely fantastic! I admit, I’m a little sad I didn’t read this series when I was younger, but I’m glad to be giving it a chance now.
5.
The Way You Make Me Feel has incredible characters, great family dynamics, and lots of diversity. I’m so glad I read this book!
4.
I love all of Morgan Matson’s books, so I already expected Save the Date to be on this list way back in June when I first read it. This book was amazing! I laughed and cried. The characters and family dynamics were so well done. The romance was so sweet. I just loved this one!
3.
I don’t know how many times I’ve had people tell me to read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. This book had so much hype surrounding it, I didn’t think I could possibly like that much. Well, everyone was right. This book was incredible!
2.
Sweet Dreams, the final book in the Illusion trilogy was absolutely amazing! What a great way to end an already great series. This book really showed how far the characters have come and even how far Nadette Rae Rodgers has come as a writer. I cannot recommend this book or series enough!
1.
Oh my goodness, y’all! I just loved Small Spaces so, so much! I literally loved every single thing about this book. From the first page I was hooked and continued to stay gripped until the very last page!
And those were my favorite books of 2018! I pray that your 2019 is filled with so much joy, positivity, and, of course, wonderful books.
Thank you so much for reading and Happy 2019! 🎉

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was one of my favorites as well. I couldn’t get into Small Spaces (no pun intended lol) but I’m happy you enjoyed it! 😊

Aw that’s so disappointing! Maybe you can request your library to buy it? You can do that at my library, and usually, they end up buying it.

I loooove the 100-WHERE-R-U books. I haven’t thought about them in forever. I always thought they were a bit on the dark side for a Meg Cabot book – probably why I liked them so much! It was definitely a big change from Princess Mia.
You’ve made me want to reread them 🙂

Yes! They’re definitely more intense than her other series! I discovered this series at a library book sale and have been loving them so much!
