December/January Wrap-Up!

monthly wrapup

Hello! It’s been nearly a month since I’ve last written on here, but I am back!  January was just a busy month for me, and I didn’t end up having a whole lot of time for blogging. I also attempted to read through the entire Bible in a month, and so because of that, I didn’t have a whole lot of time for reading other books either.  I’m not quite done with the Bible, or the other two books I’m reading, Rebecca and Girl, Wash Your Face, so I’ve decided to just include those in my February wrap-up.

In December, however, I read four books!

A Vintage Christmas was filled with so many delightful short stories and poems that just filled me with the Christmas spirit! I absolutely adored this book!  It is one that I could definitely see myself rereading year after year.

BOOK HAUL

First, I was gifted some lovely books, Falling for You, The Sound of Rain, and The Color of Lies, thanks to Just Read Tours, Bethany Publishing House, and Revell publishing.  So, a huge thank you to them! I cannot wait to read all of these!

Then, while at the thrift store, I found some oldies but goodies! I’m especially excited for Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour and Lock and Key because Morgan Matson and Sarah Dessen are my favorite YA contemporary authors and they’re two of the few books I haven’t read from them!IMG_5467.jpg

For Christmas, I received Bridge of Clay and A Map of Days, which I am soo excited to read!!

I also received a B&N gift card for Christmas, and with that, I bought Imposters! The Uglies series has always been a favorite of mine, so I’m super eager to read this continuation/spin-off!

And lastly, I was gifted Becoming Us from WaterBrook and Multnomah!  I adore the Christy Miller series, so I am so excited to catch up with Christy and her new friends in this book.

During the month of December, I attempted to do Blogmas.  While I wasn’t able to actually post every day like I intended, I still posted quite a bit, and it all just felt so fun and festive!

    • Amy and Roger is the only Morgan Matson book I haven’t read yet, so I’m very excited to read it! And yes, I love Sarah Dessen, so I’m super excited to read Lock and Key and to have found Saint Anything! ☺️
