top ten tuesday

It’s Top Ten Tuesday again!  It’s a weekly bookish list created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is:

TOP TEN BOOKS ON MY WINTER TBR

Skipping Christmas

I absolutely love Christmas with the Kranks, which is based off Skipping Christmas.  It’s one of my favorite Christmas movies, and I always have to watch it at least once every holiday season!  I’ve never read the book, though.  I wanted to read it last Christmas, but I never got around to it, so I’m hoping to remedy that this year!

Journey Back to Christmas

I am so obsessed with Hallmark Channel’s Christmas movies.  I know they are so cheesy and predictable, but honestly, I just cannot get enough! 90% of what I watch on television in the months of November and December is their movies.  So, when I saw Journey Back to Christmas on NetGalley, I had to request it!  It was one of my favorite premieres last year, and I think this book will be a fun, quick, Christmas-y read!

The Afterlife of Holly Chase

I just recently heard about this book, and I think it sounds so interesting and will make another perfect holiday read!  I love the Christmas Carol theme, and I’m super excited to read this one!

The Coronation

I recently read and reviewed Regal Hearts: Season One, and The Coronation, while it is its own series, it is still related. I really loved Regal Hearts, so I’m excited to read this book and see what I think of this one!

Wayfarer

I still can’t believe I haven’t read Wayfarer yet! I loved Passenger, and I’ve had this book since it first came out, and I still haven’t gotten around to it.  I really hope to get to it soon and see how this great series wraps up!

Trouble is a Friend of Mine

I’ve wanted to read this book for a while, and so I was really excited when I found it at my library’s book sale for $0.25.  So, I’m really looking forward to getting to Trouble is a Friend of Mine!  I’ve heard it has Nancy Drew vibes, which, if you all know me, really got my attention. 😉  This book sounds so fun and mysterious, and I think I’ll really enjoy it.

The Walls Around Us

Another thing I love is books about ballet!  So, I’m hoping to read The Walls Around Us very soon.  I’ve heard this book is filled with magic, mystery, and, of course, ballet!

The Midnight Dance

Speaking of ballet books, another one I really want to read is The Midnight Dance!  The story line sounds so mysterious and intriguing, and just look at at that gorgeous cover!! Heart eyes all around!

Ringer

Another book I hope to get to this winter is Ringer by Lauren Oliver!  Replica has been one of my favorite reads of 2017, and I really want to see how the story ends!  I love how unique this series is!

Under Rose-Tainted Skies

I’ve heard so many good things about this book!  I don’t know why I haven’t gotten to it yet.  Under Rose-Tainted Skies deals with mental illnesses like agoraphobia, OCD, and anxiety, and I’ve heard the representation is really good!  Plus, on a shallow note, just look at that gorgeous cover!  This is a book that I’m really looking forward to reading, hopefully, very soon.

  1. Wayfarer is soooo good! It’s one of my favourites! Also the fact that Journey Back to Christmas is a book is amazingggg, I say the start of the movie the last time I was at my parents and made my mom save it so I could finish it the next time I’m over aha

    • Thank you!! I really hope to enjoy Rose Tainted Skies and Wayfarer, too. I’ve heard other people say Wayfarer wasn’t as good as Passenger, but we’ll see. Being that my expectations aren’t quite as high, hopefully I won’t be disappointed! 🙂
