Funny and Punny Book Titles!

It’s Top Ten Tuesday!  TTT a weekly bookish list hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s topic is:

Funny and Pun-Filled Book Titles

Peace, Love, and Baby Ducks by Lauren Myracle

First up on my list is Peace, Love, and Baby Ducks by Lauren Myracle. I think this is such a fun title and actually fits the story really well (from what I remember – it’s been years!).

The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg

Next up on my list is another oldie but goodie, The Lonely Hearts Club by Elizabeth Eulberg. I love the Beatles reference and I love how the cover pays homage to them as well. This book is such a cute, underrated one, and I love how the pun fits so well for this title!

The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness

The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness is such a perfect title for this book! This book is a play on the “chosen one” trope and focuses on the kids who are not “chosen” and are just trying to survive high school. While I, personally, didn’t love this book, it had excellent mental health rep, I loved the concept of this book, and this title is so funny and punny once you realize what this book is about.

The Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Vigue

I don’t know about you, but I’m always labeling my seasons as “the summer of *insert whatever* here.” I especially did this as a teenager and distinctly remember labeling my one summer as “the summer of ice cream cones” because I would go and get an ice cream cone every week. 😂 So, because of that, I think The Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Vigue is so funny and a great pick for this week’s topic!

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell

Next on my list is Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell. I think this title is so cute and the fact that the main characters, Deja and Josiah, work at a pumpkin patch makes it all the more fun and cute!

One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I don’t know if One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid is necessarily a funny title but I feel like it’s a great play on words and fits so perfectly with the book, so I’m going with it, lol!

Again, But Better by Christine Riccio

Another not necessarily funny title is Again, But Better by Christine Riccio. If you’ve read this book, you’ll know what I mean by how this title fits the book so well in an almost comedic way!

A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro

Next up on my list is A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro! I love how this title is a perfect play on the classic Sherlock Holmes book, A Study in Scarlet!

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren is another funny favorite of mine! I think this title really captures how many of us often feel during the holidays. 😂

Sketchy Behavior by Erynn Mangum

Last on this week’s list is Sketchy Behavior by Erynn Mangum. This title fits this book so well! It’s so fun and the perfect pun for this story!

That’s it for this week’s TTT! Thank you so much for reading. I truly appreciate every single like, comment, and the time you all take to read everything.

Tell me a book that you think has a funny or pun-filled titled!
