Summary
If there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that I’ll do anything to prevent some suit from walking onto my family farm and buying it from us.
Hayes may think he can show up at our home, fling a contract in my face, and I’ll drop to my knees and thank him for saving the day, but he’s got it all wrong.
Even if it means Hayes has to spend more time on the farm, sleeping in the bedroom next to me, and almost getting a limb cut off.
When I learn that Hayes needs his job to care for his nephew, I see a different side to the grumpy businessman and understand his motives. He may be the enemy, but soon I can’t deny the chemistry that sizzles between us.
But his boss gives him an ultimatum to finalize the sale or get fired, and I make the greatest sacrifice of my life and sign the contract so he can raise his nephew right. Even if it means losing the man I love.
Meet Hate is an enemies-to-lovers rom-com with crackling chemistry full of laughs and heart set on a dairy farm. All the tension without the explicit bits. It’s the third book in the Meet Cute Series, but it can be read as a standalone.

After loving Abi Sabina’s other book, Meet Again, I was so excited to have the opportunity to read the latest addition to the Meet Cute series. I’m so happy to say that Meet Hate did not disappoint!
What a fun book! Meet Hate was such a cute and enjoyable read. I loved the farm setting, the sass from Ellie, and the classic enemies to lovers trope between her and Hayes. I’ve always wanted to live on a farm so I loved living vicariously through Ellie, lol. The way she truly loved the cows was the sweetest thing. I really loved Ellie’s family and the honest dynamic as well.
This book was also so funny. There were parts where I literally laughed out loud. Ellie was so feisty in the cutest way. I love how she gave Hayes such a hard time but he was still always such a gentleman. He always wanted the best for her and her family while also wanting the best for his nephew. The struggles and decisions he faced in this book were so heartfelt. I loved the growth of his character and Ellie’s and the way they both pushed each other in the right directions even when they were not getting along.
Even though all of these books are technically part of a series, they can also be completely read as stand-alones. The other characters are mentioned in passing, however. Like I said, loved Abi Sabina’s other book, Meet Again, and so it was also so fun to see the little cameo from Lex! I loved getting a peek into how her life and relationship was going.
Overall, this was a sweet and swoon-worthy read without the spice (just a few kisses). I thoroughly enjoyed Meet Hate and can’t wait to read more of Abi Sabina’s books! If you love romance books, read this one! Bonus: all of Abi Sabina’s books are on Kindle Unlimited, so if you’re a member, now you have no excuse not to read this one. 😉
