April Wrap-Up!

monthly wrapup

Hi friends! Today I’m back with my April wrap-up, and in true Theresa fashion, we’re already halfway through May.  Will I ever post a wrap-up on time? Who knows! Stay tuned…😂

As you all can probably guess from my lack of blog posts last month, I didn’t have a great reading month either.  I ended up only reading two books.  I realize that’s still two books to celebrate, but I was hoping for more.  Regardless, I really enjoyed both of the books I read last month!

– Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid (library book) // ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

– Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple // ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Daisy Jones & The Six was so incredible!! Going into this book, I really did not expect to like it all that much, but oh my word, it was absolutely fantastic!  Every ounce of praise for this book is very well deserved.  This story is one that will remain with me for a very long time!

I was a bad blogger and didn’t review any, lol 🙈

I was so thankful to have received an ARC of Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley!  Thank you so much to Waterbrook & Multnomah!  The book just released, and if you buy it by May 21st, you can redeem a free OYE coaching session for free!

I was also so thankful to be chosen as a host for Bookending Spring 2019!  For three days I hosted and on those days I shared:

And that was my April!  I’m finally finished with school for the semester, so hopefully the rest of May will be a bit more productive when it comes to reading and blogging!

  1. April wasn’t a great month for me either and I haven’t posted my wrap up 😛 I’ll probably do both April and May together … I’ve heard only great things about Daisy Jones and I really, really wanna read it!! I hope May has been better for you ❤

    • I’m glad I wasn’t the only one! 😜 May has been slow but I’m finally on summer break from uni, so I expect I’ll be able to pick up the pace this second half of the month! I hope you love Daisy Jones as much as I did when you get a chance to read it!! ☺️❤️
