Hey everyone!  Today I am starting a new feature on my blog called Movie Monday.  Basically, I’m going to discuss and compare the movie adaptations of various books that I’ve read.  The goal, for now, is to do this at least twice a month, but I may do more! 🙂 Today’s book to movie adaptation I’m going to talk about is the 1996 movie Matilda, based off the book of the same name by Roald… Read More

Well, we are one week into the read-a-thon already, and this week went okay, but I need to hustle a little bit if I want to get all my badges!   Badges Earned This week, I earned my Earth Badge with The Program by Suzanne Young.  I really enjoyed this one, and it only took me about 2 days to finish, which is really good for me.  My review for it went live yesterday,… Read More

I didn’t blog nearly as much as I wanted to last month, but July was my best reading month of 2016 so far, so that’s something! BOOKS READ I read eight books this month!  Seven were physical, and one was an ebook.  That is quite good for me.  I’ve been in a terrible reading slump on and off for the most of 2016, and I think it’s safe to say that my reading slump… Read More

Title: All American- Girl by Meg Cabot Pages: 398 Genres: YA, Contemporary, Chick-Lit, Humor Published by: Harper Teen (June 7th, 2002) Summary Samantha Madison is an average, cool Washington, D.C., teen: She loves Gwen Stefani (who doesn’t?), can draw like nobody’s business, and enjoys being opposite to her sister’s annoying ultra-social personality. But when she ditches art class one day, she doesn’t expect to be jumping on the back of a wannabe presidential assassin. Soon the young… Read More

June was a fairly quiet reading month.  I read 4 books, which isn’t terrible, and I didn’t buy any new books (which is probably for the best! lol).  Overall, it was just pretty…average! BOOKS READ Like I said, I read four books this month!  Two of them were physical, and my other two were ebooks. – A Thousand Salt Kisses by Josie Demuth \\ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Elsie Dinsmore by Martha Finley \\ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – The Kill Order by James Dashner \\ ⭐️⭐️… Read More

May was not my best reading month.  I don’t know why, but 2016, in general, has not been my reading year.  Hopefully now that summer is going to go into full-swing I’ll actually be able to read more!

March was not a very good reading month for me.  Basically, I’ve been in a reading slump since the end of February!  Because of that, I only read two books this month. BOOKS READ   –  A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall \\⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wink Poppy Midnight by April Tucholke \\ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – I am almost done with 1984 by George Orwell though (ideally, I’d like to finish it tonight), and I’m about… Read More

This month wasn’t a spectacular reading month, but that’s okay, because this month I actually created this blog!  Making a book blog is something I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, but I never got around to it before, or I couldn’t think of a name, or I’ve always had some other excuse, but I finally made one. So, I’ll excuse my lack of reading for this month and… Read More
